Lolly
Food: 10-13 crickets, bok choy
Toilet: Yes
Behaviour: Lolly was her usual easy going self today. Ate well in the new feeding tray. I had to put her in the slightly smaller one because of what we tried with Booster today. She looked a little cramped, but, still went at everything moving and edible in there with her.
JT had a good hold of her today. I went to get my camera to take some quick photos and JT had managed to quietly and safely retake control of Lolly when she darted off for a little look around. I was none the wiser until she told me about it. It is giving me great pleasure to see her so sensible and enjoying our new pets.
Booster
Food: 11 (yes that's right 11) crickets, bok choy
Toilet: yes
Behaviour: A red letter day! I am hoping that we have got it sorted with regards to Booster's feeding now. I caught him and placed him in one of the new feeding trays. Then I put the whole tray inside the enclosure and dropped in some crickets. We then went to feed Lolly and left Booster to his own devices.
Upon returning a couple of minutes later, the 5 crickets that were in with him were gone! I quickly put 6 more in and just had to take a sneaky peak. Within a few seconds he was hunting them all down. The bottom of the tray is a little slippery and he had to have a few goes to get a couple of them as a result, but, he ate every single one of them. Go Booster!
Thanks once again to the advice from Reptiles inc. I am hoping that we have Booster on track to start matching Lolly's growth. Feeding him in a tray inside the enclosure was something that they suggested a while ago that I have left until today to try. Today it worked! Let's hope it does again tomorrow.
